Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy in Greenwich

Transpersonal therapy operates on the belief that an individual’s spiritual needs are as vital as their physical needs. When these needs are unmet, the result is often some kind of life crisis or break down. In transpersonal psychotherapy personal breakdowns and crises are seen to have a useful purpose in that they act as a warning signal, as well as to indicate the way for us to change, grow and unfold.

The world we live in, especially with the pressures of city living, is often highly demanding and stressful. Maintaining our health, in the holistic sense, in the face of such demands is hard enough under ideal circumstances and most people come to some kind of life crisis where their physical, mental or spiritual health fails. When that happens, we are challenged with the need for change and growth.

Growth is never easy, nor is it painless. It can, however, be eased with the right help. I have dedicated most of my life to disciplines contributing to my own personal growth and I see it as my life's work to help facilitate the healing and growth of others.

My methods are grounded in a deep respect for the importance of early life experiences and how they shape us. I attempt to help people find a balance between where they come from and where they wish to go. A great amount of the success of the therapeutic relationship rests on the therapist’s ability to create a safe space for people to say the things that they have never been able to say to anyone.

I currently am only seeing people for online counselling and psychotherapy sessions. Issues that may be taken to counselling include:

  • Stress
  • Relationships
  • Panic Attacks
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement
  • Redundancy
  • Depression, and
  • Addiction.
