Yoga classes in London


I am a Hatha and Power Yoga Teacher and have been teaching since 1999. I originally trained with Shakti Mhi of the Prana Yoga Teacher college in Vancouver, Canada. I could list all the people that I have trained with but I have learned more from my students and my own practice than from any other single person. Name dropping is odious anyway.

My Hatha classes typically begin with breath work and progress to a balanced flow of postures and they always end with relaxation techniques. I try to adjust the attention of the individual in order for them to adjust their posture, rather than just pushing people into postures.

My current Hatha Yoga classes are:

Third Space Tower Bridge Tuesdays 13:15-14:00 and Sundays 13:00-14:00 and 14:30-15:30

Nuffield Health City Thursdays 13:00-13:45

Third Space Canary Wharf Saturdays 11:25-12:55

The Third Space Marylebone Sundays 10:30-11:30

In my Power Yoga classes the emphasis is on keeping the body and breath moving through a continuous flow of standing poses that work and warm the entire body, toward the end of class we work into deeper stretches and relaxation.

My current Power Vinyasa classes are:

Third Space Canary Wharf Mondays 7:10-8:10 and 19:15-20:30, Thursdays 7:00-8:00, Fridays 7:00-8:00 and Saturdays 10:15-11:15

Third Space Tower Bridge Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 and 12:15-13:00 and Wednesdays 6:45-7:45

Soho Gyms Lewisham Thursdays at 10:00-11:00

Nuffield Health City Thursdays 12:15-13:00 and 14:00-14:45

Greenwich Fitness and Pilates Fridays during term time 9:30-10:30 14 Drop in, Limited spaces.

I also teach meditation at Third Space Canary Wharf Saturdays from 1:15-2:15
